The space is no 4 as shown on the above photo.

The gardens

The beautiful gardens at Whiteladies are communal and are one of the things guests remember most about staying here.

Palms, mature planting, terraces, seating areas and views towards the coast give them an almost subtropical feel — several guests have described them as our own little “Garden of Eden”.

There is also an outdoor dining area for guests to enjoy and you are welcome to use all the other parts of the gardens.

Children and babies

Children are welcome at Seaview Palms.

A travel cot and high chair can be provided on request.

Because there are steps, terraces and different levels within the gardens, young children should be supervised outside.

Pets

We can accept one dog at Seaview Palms.

Smoking and safety

Seaview Palms is a non-smoking property.

There are two fire extinguishers, one in the kitchen the other in the main bedroom wardrobe.

It's a proper village pub with a great atmosphere serving drinks and great food.

You don't necessarily need to drive into Dartmouth, as parking can be a challenge.  Stagecoach Service 3 runs through Stoke Fleming towards Dartmouth in one direction and Kingsbridge, with onward services towards Plymouth, in the other.

The nearest bus stop is right opposite the entrance to the apartment car park

There are also some local 93T services.

Walking to Blackpool Sands

Blackpool Sands is around a 10-minute walk.

Walks from the doorstep

You are very close to the South West Coast Path, so some of the best days out don't require the car at all.

One lovely option is to walk down towards Blackpool Sands and continue along the coast.

The official Blackpool Sands and Strete circular walk is around 3.2 miles and is graded moderate, with some steep sections.

Seaview Palms is a comfortable two-bedroom apartment in a lovely older building, full of character and charm. You can sense its age and history in the look, the feel and even the atmosphere of the building which was a school many years ago. And while we’ve naturally chosen photographs that capture Seaview Palms and South Devon at their sunniest and most beautiful, we should probably mention that it does rain here too!

It isn’t a brand-new, perfectly uniform hotel room and that’s rather the charm. If you love character, individuality and a sense of village life, we think you’ll feel very at home here. If you prefer everything shiny, new and perfect, a Premier Inn may suit you better.

Gardens

Guests have described staying at Seaview Palms like "staying in the garden of Eden"
